MangroveJobs runs mangrovejobs.com from Innisfail, Queensland. MangroveJobs advertises part-time roles that people anywhere in Australia can do from home and introduces applicants to the employers offering them. MangroveJobs is not the employer. Contact MangroveJobs at careers@mangrovejobs.com. MangroveJobs handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Two kinds. First, the application form, which asks for your name, age, gender, nationality, country of residence, email address and WhatsApp number. Second, the WhatsApp message you send the MangroveJobs HR team, which shows your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you wrote. If you email MangroveJobs, we also receive your email address and message.
Yes, the routine details any website receives: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. The MangroveJobs hosting provider keeps these to operate and protect mangrovejobs.com, and MangroveJobs does not link them to applications.
If a required field is empty, MangroveJobs may not be able to contact you or pass your application to the employer. Optional fields can simply be skipped.
Please never send passwords, one-time codes from text messages, bank or card numbers, your tax file number or photos of identity documents. MangroveJobs never needs or asks for these, and deletes any that arrive.
MangroveJobs uses your details to respond to you, share role information, forward your application to the relevant employer, answer your questions, keep a record of what was discussed, deal with complaints or misuse and meet legal obligations.
MangroveJobs does not sell, rent or trade personal information and does not use applications for marketing. Should another role seem a better fit, MangroveJobs will ask your permission before your details go anywhere for it.
Only the people at MangroveJobs who handle applications, plus the employer behind your chosen role. MangroveJobs names the employer and explains what will be shared before any introduction is made.
Cloudflare hosts and secures mangrovejobs.com and forwards email sent to MangroveJobs. The application form is run by WhatsForm, which receives your answers the moment you press submit and then opens WhatsApp. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. WhatsApp, owned by Meta, carries messages between you and MangroveJobs HR. Google Ads and Google Analytics measure visits and completed applications, as described below. Each provider works under its own terms.
Only where a law requires it, or where the law permits it and it is reasonably necessary to investigate misuse or protect someone's rights.
Applying to MangroveJobs has two steps: the form, then a WhatsApp message to HR. When you press submit, WhatsForm saves your answers and opens WhatsApp with a message addressed to the MangroveJobs HR number shown at the top of the chat. Nothing is sent from WhatsApp until you tap Send yourself. If you cannot use WhatsApp, write to careers@mangrovejobs.com and MangroveJobs will arrange another option.
Yes, a small number. Our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter out bots. The Google Ads tag and the Google Analytics tag loaded with the application form can set cookies that measure visits and whether an advert led to an application. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and mangrovejobs.com will still work.
MangroveJobs uses the Google Ads tag AW-18231641591 to count how many visitors from our adverts go on to submit the application form, and Google Analytics (G-HP9QQBXFFN, loaded by the WhatsForm form) to count page and form views. Google receives technical details such as the page, the time and an advert click identifier. Your name, phone number and email address are never placed in these events or in any link. MangroveJobs does not use enhanced conversions, Customer Match or remarketing lists.
It can. Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp operate in several countries, including the United States. MangroveJobs follows the Australian Privacy Principles for overseas disclosures; email careers@mangrovejobs.com for details.
Up to twelve months after our last real conversation about a role, after which MangroveJobs deletes it. MangroveJobs deletes sooner if you ask, and keeps it longer only when the law or an unresolved dispute requires. Hosting logs are normally gone within 30 days.
Traffic to mangrovejobs.com is encrypted with HTTPS and application details are limited to the MangroveJobs staff who process them. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, MangroveJobs will tell you as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Employers you were introduced to, and WhatsApp itself, may hold their own records outside MangroveJobs's control. MangroveJobs can point you to the right place to ask them.
You may ask MangroveJobs at careers@mangrovejobs.com for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion or withdrawal of your application. MangroveJobs may need to confirm who you are, will try to respond within 30 days and will give reasons if a request is refused. An introduction that has already happened cannot be undone.
Send MangroveJobs the new details and we will correct your record.
MangroveJobs does not use automated decision-making. Applications are read by people, and hiring decisions rest with the employer.
MangroveJobs roles are intended for adults. Information about a child that reaches MangroveJobs will be deleted.
Write to careers@mangrovejobs.com explaining your concern. MangroveJobs will look into it and respond in writing, and if you remain dissatisfied, a person at MangroveJobs with no earlier involvement will review the matter afresh.
Employers need to know whether you can be considered for a role in Australia. Your age, nationality and country of residence let MangroveJobs HR check that before passing your application on. Gender is asked only because the employer form includes it, and it plays no part in how MangroveJobs treats your application.
The chat with MangroveJobs HR is stored so the team has context when you follow up. Only staff dealing with applications can read it, and MangroveJobs will delete its copy on request. Your phone keeps its own copy, and WhatsApp handles its records under its own policy. MangroveJobs does not pass WhatsApp conversations to advertisers or data brokers.
Changing your mind is fine. Tell MangroveJobs HR on WhatsApp or write to careers@mangrovejobs.com, and MangroveJobs will end contact about roles, make no new introductions and remove your information as described under retention, except anything MangroveJobs is legally obliged to keep.
MangroveJobs relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, MangroveJobs will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@mangrovejobs.com.
It may. Updates are posted here with a new date, and if they affect information MangroveJobs already holds, you will be told first where the law requires.
